The Friends of Alpha Park Public Library support the library by volunteering, fundraising, and advocating at events throughout the year. The Friends meet the second Tuesday of every month, and new members are always welcome. Membership dues start at $5, with many options available. Drop in!
Our GED classes are offered in partnership with the Moonlight Coalition for Adult Learning. Tutor-guided instruction focuses on math, reading, science, and social studies, with all materials provided. The Moonlight Coalition also pays for students to take the GED test when they’re ready! Ages 16+. Drop in!
Board and Staff members meet bimonthly to discuss current and upcoming projects for the building, grounds, and/or safety events. All committee meetings are open to the public.
